At Mr Snippy our vision is simple, we wish for a brighter tomorrow where there are no stray animals.
Our mission is to educate and enrich our community through a comprehensive desexing program, benefiting everyone involved.
We achieve this by offering non-judgmental healthcare services, making desexing affordable for cats and dogs, advocating for animal welfare, educating our community on proper animal care, alleviating the burden on rescue groups and shelters, and minimising the impact on our environment and native species.
The Mr. Snippy program is run by the Vet Post Charitable Trust. This trust was founded by Dr. Rebecca Walker who saw a need for this service in the local community.

This mobile unit is designed to bring affordable desexing directly to the communities that need it most. It’s custom-built and ready for fitting out.
Now we need your help to fit it out.
To launch our first campaign, we need donations to purchase the essential surgical equipment, consumables, and cover initial operating costs. Every dollar brings us one step closer to getting our mobile clinic on the road and into action.
Our first desexing campaign will launch in the Bay of Plenty, but we don’t plan to stop there. With enough support, Mr. Snippy will be able to travel, grow, and reach even more communities across the country.
